PFW Fall 2011 RTW: Christian Dior

Sidney Toledano, Dior’s president, made a statement pre-show: 

What has happened over the last week has been a terrible and wrenching ordeal for us all, he said. It has been deeply painful to see the Dior name associated with the disgraceful statements attributed to its designer, however brilliant he may be.

The collection was evidence of the former head designer’s brilliance…but no level of brilliance can excuse his behavior.
